A little goes a VERY long way. Laundry detergents are mostly water- so in order to save packaging and shipping, Live For Tomorrow figured you have a tap and cut out the water.  We suggest adding the concentrate to a larger bottle and adding some water (up to 8 x). We are not used to using only a few teaspoons- so this will help with the transition.

Spelt is a flavourful ancient grain that is a distant relative of wheat. Our Spelt is organic and is proudly grown in BC. We slowly stone grind our Spelt at low temperature to maximize flavour and preserve nutrients. Spelt is a popular choice for discerning bakers since it has not been subject to the hybridization efforts to improve yields like modern wheat has. “Sifted” simply means we remove the bran. These agents do not need to be declared under current Canadian labelling laws for “white flour”. Some examples are chlorine, benzoyl peroxide, ammonium chloride, azodicarbonamide, and l-cysteine. 100% extra virgin olive oil is unrefined and is the highest quality of olive oil available. Originating from Tunisia, organic, 100% vegan, gluten-free, GMO-free, decanted, acidity of 0.3%, polyphenol level of 600 mg/l. Imported directly from the farm- this olive oil is 100% traceable.

Yes it is a little pricey – but it is 100% traceable and reflects the shortages of the past season. Due to disease and climate change- yields were down by 70% and our cost has nearly doubled since last year. In order to offset olive oil use – we have brought in some other oils, such as avocado and grapeseed oil.

Shiitake is widely regarded as the tastiest, healthiest, and most popular cultivated mushroom. Grown on BC red alder our mushrooms are produced in small, intensively managed batches to maximize moisture content, nutritional value, and flavour. The rich, earthy flavour and dense texture makes shiitake a versatile addition to all healthy diets. From stir fries and chilies to curries they are a wonderful source of protein with a satisfying meaty texture. They also contribute anti-oxidants, vitamins B, C, and D, help balance blood sugar levels, and boost the immune system considerably!

Loin chops look like mini T-bone steaks, and tend to be meatier than rib chops. While not as tender as rib chops, loin chops also have a wonderful smooth flavor. This is a good choice when you’re looking for a hearty dinner.

Boneless leg of lamb

Shoulder chops are larger in size than rib and loin chops, and have a tougher muscle structure. This means that you will want to cook them slightly longer than a rib or loin chop, and at lower heat. They also benefit from a brine, a rub, or a marinade to help break down the tough muscle fibers. So, just like any other tough cut of meat, they require low, slow cooking, which makes them ideal for your slow cooker. You can’t quickly pan-fry or grill them.

Lamb riblets are a lesser known cut of meat, taken from the area near the lamb shoulder and sawed off from the top of the bones that form a rack of lamb. These small rib bones don’t have as much meat as we generally find with pork ribs, but they are still worth the trouble to cook because their flavor is outstanding.
